Today, I was given information that Holly is again trying to post about Guy using the aliases Holly Brooks and Ann Davis on Facebook.

Recently, I was able to unearth a lot of interesting information about Holly. I found a post about Guy when he was originally posted by Gillian and was advertised as being fully funded and was ready to go to his new home on May 9, 2023. This raises the questions of where are all the funds on this dog and how much exactly? Holly, do you care to answer that?
Holly frequently takes in bite cases and neglects to tell the fosters. This information has been relayed to me by several sources. In one case, the dog in question ended up trying to drag another dog into a pond and almost killing it. Of course, Holly didn’t pay the vet bills for the owners. She tried to brush it off, suggesting that the dog may not have been as injured as they claimed – I have seen the text exchanges.
Returning to Guy, the foster was attempting to move some treats out of his reach when he bit her. The bite was serious enough to necessitate self-medication, but not severe enough to require a hospital visit. Instead of showing concern or seeking a solution when the foster informed Holly, she attempted to shift the blame onto the foster. The foster had also asked numerous times for Ms. Deprimo to provide Guy’s vaccination records after being bit which she kept refusing to do until July 23rd, 2023 and guy bit her on June 11, 2023. Ms. Deprimo also got argumentative when she asked for the vaccination records and made her send a picture of the bite then dismissed it then hung up and sent pages of text messages blaming the foster for everything including Ms. Deprimo’s own irrational behavior. She even told the foster that there were no funds for training. It’s important to note that funds were specifically raised for this dog. He had full sponsorship according to Gillian. So, where is the money that was raised for this purpose and how come this money wasn’t used for training & his betterment?
When discussions with Holly proved fruitless and she dismissed the seriousness of the situation, the foster decided to keep Guy under self-quarantine. She then began researching Holly, unearthing myriad complaints and distressing accounts about her online. She found a dog trainer, Holly had allegedly been harassing and stalking after neglecting to pay them for boarding and training some dogs. This trainer had previously obtained a protective order against Holly.
The foster contacted the trainer, Amanda, who generously offered her services free of charge to help Guy. Amanda provided free training because she didn’t want another dog to suffer neglect or potentially cause harm due to Holly’s inadequate handling. The training had a positive effect, making Guy more manageable and establishing necessary behavioral boundaries. It’s perplexing why Holly hasn’t paid Amanda for this service, given that she realizes Guy’s improved behavior is entirely due to Amanda’s training.
You currently have four lawyers —Kerrie Kessing, Ed & Penny Furr, and Juan Estrada— representing you in various matters. Three of them are supposed to be animal advocates. Thus, it’s perplexing as to how you can defend a client who is:
- Not a licensed rescue, which consequently escalates harm to the animals she ill-manages?
- Operating without a legitimate 501c3 status while collecting donations under that facade and misappropriating them?
- Failing to maintain legally mandated paperwork, which any law-abiding rescue operation within the state would be obligated to comply with?
- She is required by law to keep legally necessary paperwork, as would any lawful rescue operating in the State of Georgia.
Next, I want to address the rescues that have pulled dogs for Holly and done courtesy posts. One such individual: Lally Latimor, aka Wags & Wiggles. Holly referred to you as an idiot in texts, if I remember correctly. Thus, it is surprising that you would risk your rescue by agreeing to hand dogs over to an unlicensed individual who is trying to unlawfully operate as a rescue much less do a courtesy post.
Safehaven Furever Rescue, which is primarily a transport, is no longer working with Holly. However, Bill used to work with her until he discovered her deceptive nature. She did not provide him the necessary vet bills or records when she was supposed to and indeed, she never has.
Any rescue that assists or aids Holly should be considered a huge red flag. All of their records should be carefully reviewed by the GADOA for not only the welfare of their dogs, but to ensure they aren’t entrusting unsafe dogs that could harm or cause harm within the community.
I am not against dogs being rehabilitated from having a bite history. I absolutely believe dogs can be rehabilitated. However, this requires proper training, work, and effort. Holly does not provide this. In fact, she conceals a dog’s bite history, which is against the law.
P.S. Holly I hoped you paid that $3500 I would hate for you to be in jail again. 😉 who am I kidding, it would make my day. Just where someone who is doing wrong by animals belongs.
